Great robe, belt loops weak

I bought two of these for my wife. They're beautifully made and the material is very soft and comfortable. The print on both of them is very good, one of them has a peacock motif and the other cherry blossoms, they're well executed and do not look tacky or trashy. The only criticism would be that the belt loops are incredibly fragile, I've already had to repair one.

This really is beautiful silk. I am 5'3 about 155 and wear an 8 on top and a 10 on the bottom. It fit me perfectly and when belted, hangs down past my sizable rump. It hits above the knee. This isn't meant to be a long robe, but a shorter, cute, sexy robe to wear when you are getting ready. The arms fit me perfect as I tend to have shorter arms than most people. This is not a traditional kimono, so if you aren't expecting that you won't be disappointed. The shipping was quick and on time.

I rarely leave reviews. If you're considering buying something else, you don't need to waste your time. I bought this in the teal cherry blossom. The colors are rich and beautiful and it feels fabulous. It's worlds away from the low quality synthetic and thin silks. I'm buying a second one immediately.

Love love love this kimono. So comfortable! The silk is high quality. The kimono didn't appear to have any loose threads, seems to be well made. Have not tried washing it yet. Definitely worth the splurge for a 'me' gift. I am pretty average sized, maybe slightly smaller than average (5'6" ~130lbs) and I thought the kimono fit slightly larger than I thought it would but it is still very flattering and comfortable.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. I bought the kimono in white and it is soft and beautiful. Being petite and sorta skinny, I was afraid the kimono was going to be too big but it fit great. A kimono robe doesn't have to fit very tightly anyway. My only regret is that it is packaged in a plastic bag instead of a nicer box, but it is a minor grievance. If you buy it as a gift, you will probably need to repackage it yourself before gifting. A vintage postcard was included in the package which I think is a nice touch.
