Received USED units....TWICE

I ordered one of these and I could see evidence that it had been used so I ordered another one and when it arrived it also had been used. Don't know who used them, I contacted the manufacturer and they had no idea why they would be used. I can only assume that Amazon was taking returns and then re-selling them. Anyway, I wanted NEW and not something somebody USED so I sent them back and just rebuilt my original with the best quality parts I could find.

Burned up cap and rotor before I could even set timing. Save yourself the headache and buy a better one this is garbage

After it arrived in the mail. It was purchased to replace my older model.I opened the box and was happy with what I seen. But when I installed the distributor 2 months later. It produced no spark. It looks the part but didn't function. I would suggest installing as soon as you can to make the return window.
While the fit and finish are good the quality is a bit on the low side

While the fit and finish are good the quality is a bit on the low side. After about 6000 miles the center button had actually burnt out the hole it sits in and left black soot all over the inside of the cap that made it start to crossfire. Also the vacuum advance had gotten stuck while adjusting it and I had to remove it to work it free again. But the rest of it seems to be working good at least.
