This was a nice break from the plain ginger chews I normally get. Are they a little more chewy than the regular? Yes. Do they "stain" your teeth? Yes, temporarily (that's the turmeric, I believe). Would I buy these again? Also yes. If you're not familiar with turmeric flavor, you might not like them but there was nothing wrong with the flavor of these, they were a great treat when I wanted something at the end of a meal. What's more, turmeric and ginger have anti-inflammatory properties which, sure, a little piece of candy might not provide a whole lot but it's better than a big ol' bag of m&ms. And I found brushing my teeth, especially with an electric brush, helped with the color on my teeth.

Bought these for sciatica pain, had read an article that ginger does wonders for it. Apparently, not for mine but hey, I learned I don't hate ginger candies and the meds I do take for the pain make my mouth super dry so the candies help with that and they've been a blessing in that manner. Not to mention, totally different flavor than anything else I've tried so super pleased with that.

I need to be fair since the apple ones really failed that I got the other day, but the one pound Original Chewy Ginger GinGins are always fresh, tasty, and chewy. I know from some that they feel these can be hard to get out of the wrappers but there is an art form to it, that once mastered they are ALWAYS a breeze to get out. I simply grab the wrapper where it meets and has that overlap that make a sort of flap. Then I tear them against how they are folded down. The ginger chew even if snug in any of the corners pop out nicely as long as you grab the chew from the main part of the chew. I love these and they are may favorite ginger candy of them all.
