I was a little disappointed in that I went by the picture (showing two) and not the description which does say one. I gave it 4 starts for that reason because I feel like it is misleading, everyone looks at the picture, but the product is beautiful and since it was on sale I feel like I still got a great deal.

So my story for wanting this is that I've been dating a very special girl to me. We went out for dinner one night and at the end of our meals we both got absolutely terrible fortunes. So, I got this so I could put my own message inside and gift it to her. It came with a piece of paper to write your own message on, but I ended up printing my own out. I used it to put a very important question inside for her. It made the question seem just a little more special. It worked perfect for me, so all 5 stars for me! She also started a new job where she'll be in an office a lot and this would make a nice paper weight or little item to put on her desk to think of us. Really nice build quality.

Just amazing- In fact more than I was expecting. Yes! It fits a ring. My photo shows the cookie with a quarter and my wedding band. They are very large (3" x 2" - hard to measure- they could be bigger) I could not use them for my original idea because they were bigger than anticipated. But I have kept them in my gift stash for a later time.

Have been using silverplate fortune cookies for 15 years or so. Used the last and purchased 2 of these because silverplate has become prohibitively expensive. I put cash in the cookies for special occasions, weddings, significant birthdays, housewarmings, etc. These fortune cookies look exactly like the silverplate cookies. They actually came packed more nicely, with black velvet bags inside their individual boxes. My silverplate cookies never came that way, only boxed, from different vendors. The only possible glitch is that they snap shut which might make them a little difficult to open. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars. They are as gorgeous as the silverplate cookies.
