Like it but a lil big for my 8oz popper ...

Like it but a lil big for my 8oz popper - if you have a BIG popcorn machine great but if you have like the smaller 2,4,6,8,12,14 oz ones it's a lil big
I wish this had come with my popcorn machine, it's so nice to not have to pick out the Old Maids!

I can't believe I didn't get this sooner! I have a popcorn machine, and the scoop it came with was pretty annoying to use. It was well, scoop shaped, not flat on the bottom, so it was hard to get much at a time, and it also scooped all the seeds. Bleah. With this, you don't get a lot at a time, or if you do, you lose a good deal when you shake it to get the seeds to fall through the holes, but that makes it not matter. Giving kids a bowl full of popped popcorn with no seeds is worth a few extra turns with this scoop. I just wish there were a left handed option, too.
So far, I haven't noticed any issues with the handle, as some other reviewers have, but I wonder if that's due to the popcorn oil getting worked into the threads. Inside the wooden handle is a threaded metal piece where the screw end of the metal handle goes. It seems well made. So I suspect the oil is helping the thing work loose.

Overall the concept on this is cool because if you have a popcorn machine you know that not every kernel pops so to keep the seeds out of the popped popcorn it drops the seeds to the holes which is great but unless you actually have a full size popcorn machine the spoon is too big also the handle is really cheaply made so I can't see it lasting very long
Essential For Popcorn Machines
GameMaker•February 25, 2017
When I first got my first popcorn machine I was wondering whether a scoup like this was necessary. I saw some reviews saying they weren't. But now that I got one of these I'm very very happy I did. Why? It's simple: the popcorn machines are rectangular, so it's darn near impossible to scoup popcorn kernels from the edges with a rounded scoup. It is also well-built and is dishwasher safe. Believe me: you'll be glad if you get one of these.
