I am a finish carpenter and many times I have pieces of molding (among other things) that I need to bundle up. For example, I stop by the local home improvement store and buy 25 16' long pieces of shoe molding. I want to throw them on top of the van to get them to the job site. It is very easy with this shrink wrap to bundle them all up and keep them from breaking, or coming loose.
This shrink wrap works very well for that, only reason for -1 star is that it is very light weight and easy to snap. With shrink wrap you are supposed to stretch it out and wind it around what ever you are bundling. Then it shrinks down keeping it tight like a big rubber band. This stuff is so thin, as you stretch it out, it easily stretches past the point of wanting to shrink back down, thus defeating the purpose.
I realize that the size/gauge is listed, but since this was my first time ordering it, I wasn't sure what gauge to buy. I am just trying to help the next person. When I order more, and I will, I will order a thicker style. But overall I am happy with the product.
