Great for Displaying my Rifles, my only objection to the rack is that it doesn't do well with AR type rifles, unable to adjust height to accommodate the various fore guards unless you go to the upper most flash hider as the rifle notches are not wide enough for the fore guards and as there are different barrel lengths it just doesn't work well however for conventional rifles and shotguns it is an excellent choice and I am in the process of buying 2 more as they are excellent quality, even though I am not happy with the price increase after only buying mine about a month ago. Even at that though these are excellent value and I highly recommend them for floor display units, they really add to the man cave atmosphere.

Could you send me some contact info? I have two of these, one purchased several years ago and one purchased recently. they are great products. The middle shaft part on the fist one is broken and will not lock. Would be possible to purchase this part with out having to purchase the entire rack?

The product arrived today via Amazon Prime. It took longer to unpack the item than it did to assemble it. It took all of 5 minutes to get it together and ready to use. I am also very pleased with the way it looks and functions. The base that sets on the floor is almost as wide as the part that the rifle butt stocks fit in. It will not turn over. Can't wait to place some guns in it. I can assure that you will not be disappointed with it. A great addition to the office, den or man cave.

I purchased this for use at a sportsmans club for additional, compact gun storage . Most of our use will be shotguns. What we found is that it holds guns almost vertically and most guns needs the rubber locks to hold them in place. So, if the rubber locks are turned to release a gun, the gun next to it could fall out. Not good for expensive trap guns! For our use, we feel the top notches could be cut deeper allowng the guns to lean in more. (We may do that on our own if we do not return it.) This would also solve the problem with it holding higher ribbed or over under shotguns that only fit halfway in the notches. I am guessing it is made this way so a large scope on a rifle does not hit the center post. If the base was 2 inches wider, I think that would also make it better.
It is pretty well made and has a nice oak finish. The bearings in the base do have some play, but overall it is of good quality. If you plan to use this for a personal collection, you will most likely be happy. If you plan to use in a public environment, I'd consider it carefully.

This gun rack actually looks better than in the photos with a nice finish on the wood base and top.
It easily holds 12 shotguns and most rifles and it holds them very securely.
I don't understand the comments that say they had problems with the top holder not holding well enough because I actually had to work it a little to get the barrels into the rack because they are so tight.
I really like how I can look at the long guns I have on this, it saves a lot of room compared to other racks and I get lots of compliments on it as well.
