The dart is fine the gram weight is deceiving as it is the total weight with flights and shafts. Dart are are typically weighed by the shaft and points. I sold that pair and will be ordering a heavier set.

The media could not be loaded. i need to replace a dart set i had for over 20 years and these have the features i wanted...a high quality dart for half the price of others, a knurled grip (and yes, still a normal rough knutled feel even though they are painted), a moveable tip, a straight shape and center-balanced. I know people argue about the benefit of a moveable point...it can only help, and its what I've used for a long time in my previous set of darts. and I have fewer bounce-outs than those I play with. purely anecdotal. the only other thing I'd like is higher % tungsten if that means same weight and thinner dart. these look thin, so it wouldn't be much difference, plus the diameters don't always reflect that expectation. I'm ok with that.

I wondered how these were weighed, but need to explore some different weights anyway, plus Amazon returns are always easy, so I took the chance. I was hoping it meant only the barrel and point weight, but no..it's total assembled weight. I plan to keep them anyway and try them out for a while. I saw one other reviewer mentioned Bottelsen darts in the "Top Box" package all are weighed by "Total assembled" weight, which as you can see in my video, the package confirms. He said other packaging from Bottelsen posts weights by barrel & point only. most dart resellers advertise that way as well.

3 darts = 57.8g (19.3 each) barrel & point only

and I ordered black, and received black, even though the picture stayed purple after my selection.

I haven't thrown them yet, and expect to want a heavier dart, but the experts say a lighter dart is good to throw occasionally.

These appear to be a good deal so far. I wanted these to try out before spending more unnecessarily on higher tungsten and higher weight Bottelsens that have no paint on the grip, and I'm glad I did. now eight is really my only reason for a different dart, and that may also change after throwing with them.

"Manufactured in the USA" is always a plus to me.

I order the wrong one I needed the heavier darts. Even though they light they had a great feel. The heavier ones came in and I couldn't been more happier.

These darts were a gift for my son. Since I know nothing about darts, I read some of the other reviews and selected these. My son said they are really nice darts. The tips are spring loaded (I think); he said they sort of recoil in. Anyway, he was very happy with them!

Says it comes with a carrying case, which is just the plastic packagin. But darts are good
