Great straws! Strong, wide and yes LONG but I love them. You can't help but laugh when they arrive because they are sooo long but so much better than the flimsy ones you buy in the grocery store. Cut them if you want or use them for a fun party, the neon colors set a happy tone all by themselves.

Good straws, use for very cold drink, some I cut in half if to long but don't throw away the other half keep it for next time. Have even been used for craft projects, and used ones get cut up and put on the bottom of planters to help with drainage then add small pebbles on top of the straws to keep the pebbles from stopping up the holes.

These are exactly what they claim to be and of good quality. I bought these for my brother who was in a neck brace after spinal surgery so he could easily drink anything - and with the thicker bore they handle smoothies and shakes well. Very easy to cut them to any length you need for a particular cup/glass/tumbler. The colors are bright and fun and the kids love them when they visit. Please note that 17" is very long - get out a tape measure or ruler so you can see what you're getting:)
