I started using this product several years ago when the Ash borer started showing on my Ash trees. A landscaper recommended this product. I started using it and the borers have disappeared and my trees are still alive.

Depending on the pest, safari may be a gardeners savior. When it comes to eunomys scale (which is a major problem for me in Florida ) safari has saved more than a few of my plants. Yes it's worthless on things like spider mites and others but for what it's designed for, it is the nuclear option. Terribly expensive but it is the last resort and outstanding effective (again against the specified pests ).

Has worked quite well to bring my treasured large eastern hemlocks back to health from the wooly adelgid. They turned from grey to bright green and have grown most of their needles back. Also has worked to keep a large ash tree that I have alive although it works slower against the emerald borer than the hemlock adelgid. Only drawback is price and that it only lasts for a year before needing reapplication whereas imidacloprid lasts for a much longer time period. I'd recommend safari for very large hemlocks followed up by imidacloprid for long lasting protection. My hemlocks treated this way have been healthy now for 7 years without reapplication.

This insecticide killed the scale on all of my Sago Palms with one application and saved them so they could sprout new frowns!!!

This is a lifetime supply for me to use with my hobby greenhouse. I use it to control a small population of scale on some of my bromeliads. They are usually pest-free, but a few are like scale magnets. This used 3 times about 7 to 10 days apart eradicates them quickly, safely and easily. No smell at all to this product, but since it is a systemic, take precautions and wear long sleeved shirt, head protection (hat), glasses and gloves, then wash up afterwards to avoid any problems.
