This doesn't absorb any makeup, which is great because I can use about half as much to get the same results. I always put moisturizer under foundation so for me it glides easily. You do have to be careful not to get too much makeup on it or you'll get weird streaks and it's really hard to get excess off. Really all it takes is a bit of a learning curve to get it right and it's well worth it for the fact that I can wash and start fresh every day.

These are the perfect size for foundation application. They are the only brand I buy now for this, since the equate ones were discontinued. This is the closest thing I could find to the equate brand applicators. Highly recommend!
