I bought this unit after my Leica Lino L2P5 crapped the bed 9 months out of warranty and was offered a replacement unit for $270.
Having used this unit at a previous employer I am fully aware of the reliability and durability of the unit. Mounts easily with a screw and the magnets are very strong. The PLS 4 simplifies a lot of your jobs with the plumb dots and the lines.

This thing became one of my main tools, that i use all kinds of ways to hang and build stuff. Most recently I used the plumb line to align a person lift with a point on a high ceiling I needed to reach. The only improvement i would go for is a second perpendicular vertical plane.

No complaints, ships quickly and is a great product. Haven't had any issues to speak of, works great with my camera tripod for installing tile and setting lite fixture boxes on remodels.

I owned the PLS 180 before , it was damaged on the job . Looking for a replacement and found this . Extremely happy with the purchase and the quality of PLS products. Hopefully one day, try the green laser .
