If you're looking for a lid for your 20 gallon rubbermaid trash container, this blue lid is outstanding. It pops onto the container with a satisfying click. Its color is among the deepest of blues. It rocks. I've rarely been as happy with a trash lid as I am with my blue Rubbermaid Commercial 1779731. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to Rubbermaid and Amazon for this product. It has truly changed my trashbin experience. Five stars is not enough to express my great experience with this product.

The lid to my Rubbermaid Brute trash can disappeared on a windy day recently. I was glad to see that I could get a new one from Amazon delivered with Prime before the next trash day. Sure enough, it was delivered on time and fits my trash can perfectly. It's just like the original except it's blue instead of black. The only slight annoyance is that the stickers that came on the product do not come off easily and it's still showing half-ripped stickers on the lid.

I love this little trash can. I use it to hold vegetable scraps at my house until I can get out to my parents to toss it on the compost pile. I purchased the lid as well. It is the perfect size for what I need it for. It takes me a week or so to fill it up. Its durable and contains smells well. I would certainly purchase this again, should the need arise.
