Incredible improvement over the standard plastic rubbish that the TX ships with, however the quality leaves something to be desired. I've had the accelerator pedal fail and the clutch pedal squeaking constantly since I bought it.

After using this for over a month now, i think this is the best weel base in its price range. Its a significant step up from my old Logitech G920 in terms of both quality and performance. Feels very similar to the last Fanatec V2 wheelbase I used. The metal platform of the base lets you drive hard without worrying about the hard mount fatiguing over time. I would recommend this base for anyone getting more serious with PC sim racing.

Heavy, quality stuff Thrustmaster! I am amazed that a PC peripheral could feel so good, it's a relief from light plastic gaming accessories. It adds another dimension to sim racing and it makes me want to drive slower cars more to enjoy shifting as part of the racing experience.
