This is a more affordable option for a nice looking portfolio, but it scratches easily and the edges will frey with just the slightest rub. Which is a downfall for a large display portfolio without a carry case. At least with the fancier options they provide a zip cover.

The "assorted colors" aren't what the picture leads you to believe (I only got a pair of black boxers and another pair of brownish boxers).
Nice portfolio, but watch those screws!

Overall I am happy with this product. It's sturdy and a nice color. It is a very dark gray, I would say easily a shade darker than the picture. But do take heed with the screws they use, they put some of them in way too tight, I had to use a wrench and screwdriver for two of them. And the metal is soft so be cautious not to ruin them.

Binding posts strip out very easily. These binders would work ok if you need to store a lot of papers and don't have to add or subtract from them very often. These are not good if you will be changing papers on a regular basis
