A Good Buy ...by any measure.

This is a good microscope for its price range. I have not been disappointed at all. AmScope provides an excellent customer support service that I have found very useful. Useful additional items have been shipped promptly. Instruction pamphlets are not the best...but help is quickly available through e-mail requests. Owning this microscope has been a very good experience. I have about 500 pictures of pond water life recorded in my computer now using Celestron's inexpensive microscope camera. I also bought the AmScope FMA050 microscope camera. This camera seems to have great potential...but learning to use it is proving to be an "experience". The Instruction Book (Downloaded) is over a hundred pages in length. This instruction book could be improved upon..as it seems to take for granted that camera purchasers are experienced in microphotography...and it is "tough" for newcomers to the field to use this camera. (I find this true with most instruction books written in China.) Persistence will "win the day"...and help is quickly available from AmScope...with any problem at all.
