This was a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter who interestingly wanted this gift for Christmas. It was delivered quick, was well packaged and it works really well. It's fragile, so its best to hang it high in a room to avoid children trying to make the bird come out and start to "cuckoo". Its well designed and very nice looking for the price, where other clocks run into the 100$ plus range.
One thing, is that it utilizes Roman Numerals on the clock face and if you are trying to teach your kids to tell time, its not very conducive for doing that. In spite of this, its a beautiful little clock, which does what it promises and hopefully the only thing to ever do with it is change the two different batteries which make it operate!

This is the cutest clock. It fit into my budget constraints, and it is just as described by the seller. It looks so cute in the spot I chose for it. It also has an automatic light sensor, so it doesn't chirp at night! The clock was packed very well by the manufacturer, and then Amazon put it in another carton and packed it even more securely. Arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

I like this clock. it does everything that they said it would. The light sensor is not too sensitive and does stop the bird at night even with one light in in the room on. I think because the light is not too close to the clock. The chirping bird is not overly loud, I think the sound is just right. It is plastic but presents like a black lacquer with a nice outdoor print on it. Sure it is fun in sort of a a Big Mouth Billy Bass sort of way.

So nice looking but the most annoying cuckoo. It isn't a bird sound but a cheap digital sound. I gave it as a gift and was embarrassed by the sound when I heard it. You can get free ringtones on your phone that sound more like real birds. You can't judge a book by its cover or a cuckoo clock by its picture.

This clock is all wood. It has great quality craftsmanship and looks amazing on my kitchen wall. My wife loves it! It also has a light sensor so it won't cuckoo all night while I'm trying to sleep but the sunlight keeps it going during the day.
