Great colors, fitted sheet is too small for a mattress+memory foam pad
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•March 27, 2018
I like the colors - the blue which is indeed darker in real life, and the vibrant red. The fabric is... cotton. The big disappointment was the fact that the sheet is too small for a toddler mattress + memory foam. The foam pad is about 3/8 of an inch thick and the sheet literally doesn't go around and below the bottom of the mattress. It's not slipping out only because I've tucked it between the frame and the mattress. Also, the comforter is somewhat hard(still very warm), and with the way my son is moving during sleep(propping his butt up), it can shape up like a tent and ultimately cover his head. So tucking it in so it doesn't rise is a must for us, not an option. FYI, this is one of two sets I bought, and both are similar overall quality, so I don't have a better recommendation .
Great Product

I scoured Target's website looking for literally any toddler bedding that was made from cotton and found nothing so I came looking here. I was surprised to find such a cute pattern in cotton since it seems like all the good stuff is polyester. I really love that the sheets and comforter are fitted at the bottom because it's way easier to make the bed and I've noticed she sweats a lot less with cotton bedding.
Cute, but horrible pilling of the comforter

This would be a 4 star review based on how the set looks right out of the bag. It's flat out adorable, and I was hunting high and low for something gender neutral for my kids' room. This fit the bill perfectly. BUT... the pilling. is. so. bad. Seriously, the comforter pills like nothing I've ever seen. Within a week the comforters looked old. I'm not sure if it's a fabric quality thing, or what. The sheets and pillow case are actually really nice and don't have the pilling problem, it's just the comforter. It looks like the stuffing leaks out in tiny balls that stick to the fabric. I'm keeping them because the toddler bed stage is short enough it's not worth another investment, but beware. Super cute, but not the greatest quality.

I've seen some complaints that the sheets aren't soft enough. Don't expect Egyptian Cotton or anything, but they're not any scratchier than any of the sheets we bought for his crib.
So far (we've had them about a month) these sheets have held up very well. We love the feature that allows the fitted sheet and the comforter to tuck underneath. They've never once come un-tucked in the night, even when he's clearly been kicking. The sheets washed well, but we haven't tried the comforter yet.

A pretty good bed set

A pretty good bed set, I was looking for a non-character cotton set and they seem to be hard to find!
Good things:
I LOVE the fitted end of the comforter. It's not elasticated but it's sewn in a boxy way that it fits around the corners.
Looks really cute!
Bad things:
Not the softest sheets.
Flat sheet isn't long enough to fold over the top of the comforter, which I guess was obvious from the photo now that I look, but I didn't notice at the time.
Sides aren't wide enough to tuck in with a child in the bed
