We have had ours now well over a year and still very pleased with the unit. The surface (stainless) is holding up well. The temperature control is perfect, and the variety of shower options is perfect. My wife at 5' uses the handheld docked head, and I use the overhead rain circle. It is easy to switch back and forth. One of my favorite parts is how the temp gauge works. When we turn on the water, the gauge is blue, but once it his 90* it turns orange. So, we can see at a glance when it is ok to get in when it is warm enough. Another favorite is the wand with the mist setting. The wand has a nice long hose to go to a bench area, give the dog a bath, and even go outside the shower to help clean a tub. The reason For only 4 stars s that the head selector knob I see hard to determine what mode you are in. The icon is embossed, but you can't really see it, especially when it is wet.

Excellent product.. Does everything advertised and then some. It was purchased to replace a four year old tower that failed due to poor installation. Installation took about 2hrs. Plumber had a few minor install adjustments, but it went as expected. Looks beautiful on the tile wall of my large Steam Shower. Note to buyers. Make sure the water line hoses from the unit are properly installed so there are no hose bend creases leading to H/C water pipes.

So now that I've had this thing for about a year and a half, I can write a review for it.
We were redoing the bathroom/shower and my wife basically demanded a "waterfall/ rain shower", and I had to provide. When I was purchasing this Item, I was a bit hesitant, but now... Let's just say, it paid itself off in spades. Works like a charm, and as promised. However here are some caveats: The horizontal nozzle heads will not give a "massage" (maybe my idea of massage requires a lot of force to be applied), but it will definitely give you, that "man that feels good" feeling after working out/physical labor/ or just plain old tiredness. The top works great, and so does the handheld. The glass shelf, stays in place, so far has not fallen. The height of the handheld is adjustable. Before installing it READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, yes I realize it goes against the core of what you are as handyman/man/woman, but READ THEM!!!! It does have some helpful hints. like the fact that if you want force from the shower you have to have 3/4" pipes in the wall, then go down to 1/2" to connect HOWEVER if you have 1/2" pipe in the wall (is what I got) you still get all the shower you'll ever need. That is just the way it is. Like if you want the water temperature to be shown in Fahrenheit and not Celsius, you have to flip the switch prior to installation. But overall great product, and very happy with it.
2 Years Later:
No issues, works just like out of the box, the hose connecting the handheld was showing signs of rust, but that is due to the fact that it was not high enough to let all the water drip off. Cleaned changed how I store it. No issues ever since.

I love my new Blue Ocean 52" S/S Thermostatic Shower Panel with all the spray options. It's beautiful, sturdy and the price was exceptional and delivery time was only a few days. The only thing is there were not instructions in the box and I needed to contact amazon three times to get more information. It was delivered and installed on a Saturday so the amazon CSR that I called wasn't able to help me; however I did also email amazon and was promptly emailed an instruction sheet (with limited information on it though); the third contact we were given a link to a local company who carries the brand. The installation would not be for anyone that had little know-how, it was installed by my contractor who had installed one similar at a job site only a few weeks back. Full Instructions would have made the install a bit more seamless. One needs to know the height for the install, how to set the temperatures, and digital thermostat to activation info.

This is the gift that keeps on giving. Anyone who has low back pain will love this Blue Ocean panel. I installed one two years ago and let the massage heads work on my lower back while I shave every morning. My back has never felt better. I start the day with all those muscles relaxed and ready to go.

We had an older model Blue Ocean and the only problem was the thermostat occasionally quit working. It was not worth the effort to repair such an insignificant feature, so we never bothered. Otherwise, the panel has been a perfect product.

The only advice I would give is that amateur home repair types should consider using a professional plumber. In our old house, we had to cut and re-seal some of the copper pipes to make the turns needed for the connection. Once I saw the things the professional had to do to make this work just right, I did not regret the decision to use a pro. For an investment like this, an expert install is a good decision.
