The net is sturdy enough but why make stakes when they only bend & don't go into the ground? If the ground is soft enough for the stake to go in, then the stake does not stay put. My suggestion is make metal stakes or don't make them at all. I would have given a 5 star rating if it weren't for the flimsy stakes.

We have the net stretched up over our Koi pond. The net is tough and large. It stretches well and maintains tension. It keeps predators away and leaves at bay. The black color also allows the net to pretty much fade into the background. Two months in and there is no sign of fading, no rips or tears.

You can't really go wrong with this netting. Not only is it excellent pond cover for spawning jumpers that get too carried away and wind up out of water, BUT the netting can also double as bird netting for my organic vege garden.
