Excellent road grip when driving from Lake Tahoe over Hwy 80. Recommend also getting the Quik Grip (QG20074) rubber chain tighners to ensure that the chains are tight and not flapping against your fenders and wheel well

I've had these for a while now but only used them for the second time this past weekend. I've used them on icy mountain roads going up to play in the snow. My truck is 2wd with 285/75/R16 tires and it does just fine on the frozen pack snow on the roads. These do make for a bumpy ride but I just keep it under about 25mph.
I test fit them on my Jeep with a 33x12.5x15 tire and they also fit those fine too, good to know that I can use the same set on either vehicle. I think I'll pick up a second set for the Jeep so I can have them on all 4 corners for more serious snow play.
I coat them with WD-40 after each trip and so far no signs of rust.

I use these every year Elk hunting in the mountains. Snow, Ice, Mud, combination of all these chains are easy to put on and work great. Because of the welded "V" on the cross links if you get a dry or hard section of road they will really shake the truck, But put them in the sloppy Mud and they are all Business!. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

Inside hook broke after less than 1/4 mile of easy use. Lucky for me I was driving very slowly and the tensioner pulled the chain off the tire before it could tear up my fender or brake line.
