If you're upgrading to brushless you WILL need these gears. The stock plastic gears that come with the brushed motors will strip out in minutes after a brushlees motor is installed. This gear set seams to be of good quality and not difficult to install. Just make sure you don't loose any bearings from the old set because you'll need to use them in this set. GRRRR!

Great So Far After Getting the Part I also upgraded the spur to an aluminum gear and the diff system can really Handel the torque and wraith of the trencher tires I have on the back of my mad Max torment
