Just began learning the fingerboard. Its a challenge, however, I'm in love with the instrument.

Bridge was uneven, but not a big deal as it is easily adjusted. The Allen wrench that was sent with the bass did not fit the bass, but Allen wrenches are easy to come by.

The sound and playability are very good. Personally, I am not a big fan of the side bar attachment that you press against you when playing, it just seems a little awkward.

I'm new to upright bass and bought this as a practice unit. It looks nice and sounds like a proper upright bass. The strings came with it feel unstable and I probably need to replace.
Piezo pick up is very noisy and there is a lot of hiss noise if I'm using my headphones. Probably fine playing thru a bass amp. This model also does not have a power swtich but detects plugs to turn on and off. However, this detection does not work well and it takes a few trials to turn off. I will probably modify this later on to add a power switch.
So not perfect to begin with, but things can be easily upgraded just like a bass guitar. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Great bass, I love playing it - but it came with one 'dead' string. Sadly those replacement strings are very pricey.
