"Onite Universal Battery Charger" features an adjustable spring-loaded door and sliding prongs.to accommodate various shapes and sizes of numerous 3.7/3.8 volt batteries. This here battery charger does a better job at charging cellphone batteries than if they were charged in their respective cellphones. It provides a rapid, efficient charge without overcharging or overheating. Batteries are charged in approximately half the amount of time usually required to charge a battery within its compatible cellphone. I left my cellphone's battery in Onite all night. Neither the charger or battery became overheated. The charger did not overcharge the battery, either. "Onite Universal Battery Charger" is quite intelligent, as it knows to stop charging a battery when it reaches a full charge. "Onite Universal Battery Charger" also features a USB output port in which a cellphone or other device can be charged at the same time. The charger has a lit indicator, which, eventually, changes from purplish-red to blue as the charging process is completed. By simply looking at this charger, I could not possibly ascertain how durable it actually is. All two hundred pounds of me accidentally stepped on my batteries buddy. It did not break a bit. So, its plastic construction must be pretty sturdy.

Briefly described, this practical product does exactly what it's supposed to do, and performs the necessary task extremely well. "Onite Universal Battery Charger" exceeds expectations, safely and quickly charging batteries.

I absolutely love this little baby! I have an older Galaxy S4 phone, and as typical of this phone, the charging port has weakened, resulting in the phone not getting fully charged. I was having to charge my phone three times a day even though I do not play games or watch videos on my phone. I purchased a second battery and keep one charged in the Onite Battery Charger all the time. It is so nice to have a fully charged battery when I need it. And it's a lot easier for me to carry an extra charged battery with me than it is to have to deal with a plug in charger or a car charger. I had questions when I first got the Onite Charger and had to contact customer service. They could not have been any nicer or more professional. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep a fully charged battery on hand.

I was hesitant to post a review fearing the product would suddenly stop working. Quite the opposite has happened. The reason I purchased this product was that my phone will no longer charge using the standard power cord. I have an Android. While the charger does get hot, just a warning, it has successfully recharged my battery every time. The charge is relatively quick. Since I do have to power off my phone I will use the charger after hours while I working or piddling around the house. I would recommend this anyone in a similar situation or to someone who has a second battery and wishes to keep it charged as a backup. The product has more than delivered on it's promise. Yes, I would purchase another one without hesitation.

Rapid is a relative term. However, I would say that 6.5 hours to get a 60% charge doesn't qualify as 'rapid'
3 stars because the battery fits, it does charge (albeit slowly) and the price is affordable. All in all its functional value is 3 stars
Pragmatically however it would be a solid one star as that is just a ridiculously slow charging time and is not practical for a backup charger. Typically I need a fresh battery around the middle of the day (5 or 6 hours into work). If this replenish rate is indicative of future rates I will be looking for a different model. Fingers are crossed that SOMEHOW the slower charge translates into a longer battery life. not likely but one can dream.

I was about to buy a new cellphone, because where I connected my charger to my phone broke. However, I thought maybe there is some type of Universal Cell Phone Battery Charger I could buy. It turned out there was! I bought this charger and LOVE IT! It works perfectly! It charges my battery about the same amount it took for my regular phone charger, but I don't care, it WORKS! So easy to use, too!

I had previously bought a new battery for my phone as well, months ago, because I thought my old battery was going bad. I had decided to keep that battery, no idea why, but I'm glad I did. It turned out there was nothing wrong with that battery. It had to have been the beginnings of my charger plug going out on my phone. So I actually have two batteries for my cell phone.

I'm able to use this charger for both batteries! So I always have one in my phone, while the other is charging.

I love the fact that this charger is a smart charger, and automatically stops charging when the battery is full!
