Grease separates and breaks down quickly

Royal Purple normally makes great products, but the grease has really missed the mark. I've been using at chassis lubrication points on my trucks and every time I pick up the grease gun, more liquid leaks out of it. This oil in this grease separates out quickly and makes me question its actual lubricating properties. I'd recommend Lucas Red & Tacky over this any day.

I am now a devotee of Royal Purple products!
I will say one thing about this specific products. If you are using it to add-to/replace existing non-synthetic grease it will actually liquify non-synthetic grease, so the replacement needs to take a three step process.
1) Apply a single full pump.
2) Wait overnight for the synthetic grease to liquefy any non-synthetic grease, which means you'll need to wipe up the "weeping" of the liquified previous grease that leak outs!
3) Re-apply the synthetic grease as normal.

I bought this for my guns. It's a lot, as it's made for cars. But I put some in a small container for use when I clean my guns. If it can do it's job under the extreme stress of automobile use, it should have NO problem with my guns.
I put a small amount on slides and other places where parts really needs protection against wear,it doesn't take much!

Excellent grease. It is PURPLE in color. It is very dark so I could see how it could be mistaken as black, but it is in fact purple. I have applied this to ball joints and bearings in the front end of my cars' suspension. I have no way to scientifically test the stuff, but one who has gotten different greases on their hands will know this is truly the good stuff. If you want the best, or if only the best is good enough for your application (like me), this is the grease you're looking for. It is the only grease I will be using on my '95 BMW 525i front suspension components.
