This is a better quality allspice than I have ever found before. I did not use the grocery store brands that taste like pocket lint. I ground my own allspice. Then I tried this! It is ground from a higher quality allspice than I ever found, so even though it is not freshly ground, it still is far more tasty and fragrant than anything I've ever tried before. It used to be that a grocery store bottle of allspice would last years in our kitchen, being used occasionally for a cookie recipe. You'd think that such a large bottle would last a decade, but it lasted only two months in this household. We use it in everything we can think of: protein shakes, smoothies, teas and toddies, baked goods, even savory dishes. It has an incredible flavor and potent aroma. We purchase anything sold by Ziyad because our experience with them has always redefined our expectations of quality. A super bargain even if it was nothing special. This is so great that it could command a much higher price.
