Not Too Mighty Bright

Not as bright as it says, the light kept coming in and out of brightness. Purchased it for my mother's piano sheet music but she did not like it. It did not perform as stated.

This light has been tested in every type of venue except an orchestra pit in a blackened house, but I'm pretty sure it would be better than the older style of incandescent stand light that I grew up with. It is handy to carry, clamps securely to an old-style Manhasset stand, and lights the whole double page. I would wish for a slightly warmer light; perhaps a future generation will provide that.
The ability to switch between battery power and plugged in is a great feature, and the cord is very long. The goose neck is very flexible and positionable. I've had no complaints of light bleed into audience.
Highly recommend for any purpose. Much better than even the little two-stalked single LED lights.

This falls into the range of "pretty good". That means I think it could be better, and I suspect the lamps used by professional orchestras are better. This is clearly superior to the lamps with a single point source, and to those who have two necks and two bulbs. In case you didn't notice in the specs, it has two intensities. This makes little difference. I think this would make a really good lamp for reading in bed, if you clamp it to a clip board.

The light works great, 3x AAA batteries and also comes with a super long plug in cord! I did have an issue with the light dimming after 30 minutes on battery (no issues when plugged in). But a quick call to Mighty Bright's support and they quickly resolved the issue!

I bought this item after seeing it used by another musician. It is compact, lightweight and provides enough light to read four sheets of music on a wide music stand. The led technology also gives me a long battery life. This is by far the best of the portable stand lights that I have used.
