No artificial flavor! The other major brands uses synthetic almond flavor.

I just opened the first can and it's amazing! Texture and quality are perfect! I use this to make 7 layer cookies. I used it yesterday and the taste is perfect...and a great deal! Just like the other paste I've been using! I had planned on sectioning the 112oz into 7/16oz portions, but found the paste was short by exactly 4oz (maybe that's the weight of the can itself?), so I sectioned just a little less to make it even. Overall, not a huge issue and I'm super happy!

I live in Almond country in Central California, and was unhappy that our local almond processor decided not to produce paste anymore. Checked Amazon and was pleased to find this product. Used it to make Dutch pastries, and it's just as good as our local product. I just hope this is made from California almonds! No country of origin on the label.
