PERFECT to etch copper from a PC Board.A++++++
Randy Bottoms✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 6, 2017
I needed this to etch copper off a PC Board that I had put trace runs from a schematic. This almost instantly dissolved the unwanted copper from the board and left my trace runs perfectly in-tact. Could not ask for anything better!
Really Nice--Works Great

Excellent Etchant but thickens very quickly like Radio Shack but fresh out of the bottle it was 10-minutes in the bath which made standing around not so bad. Try a little salt water--the salt binds to the dissolved copper and sort of cleans the solution so it can keep working like it's fresh. You can see the copper binding to the salt at the bottom which is heavier than the solution--works well for used etchant.
Great for etching jewelry

Great price and I can't complain. Great for etching copper and brass. Of course be ready to find a hazardous waste facility bc this stuff CAN NOT be dumped down the drain or in your yard. From what I understand there's a formula containing muriatic acid and hydrogen peroxide that can be used for etching and will not require special disposal and the results are less consistent and I find it inconvenient to keep making batches.
