Small, overpriced, and doesn't prevent noise or vibration

I live in a second floor apartment and this doesn't prevent or conceal any noise or vibration at all. I would probably need to use 5 of these on top of the other to get the effect I was hoping for. I would return it if it wasn't so difficult to roll it back up and ship it back.

excellent value...feels like gym-quality. holding up to daily home use without any signs of crimping, chipping or residue. smells like a tire for a few days, but i expected that. would purchase again.
Good impact absorption, but has been coated with horrible silicon spray

The mats themselves are great. But they are heavily saturated with what appears to be a silicon spray. The spray makes them slippery AND tracks into the house. Not cool at all.

The mats look and work great, they were delivered promptly too. But, I got the exact same mats, used, for $36 a piece. I didn't know until after I bought the mats that you can usually find them for pretty cheep on places like Craigslist. They use them in horse pens, and will often sell them used.

I wasted hours of my life searching for a mat that would do what I needed it to. Bought this and could not be happier. Really tough quality - I set heavy duty squat rack, 45 lbs bar and about 225 lbs worth of plates on top and it has held up just fine. Easy to clean, you could just spray it with the hose. It does have a really strong rubber smell at first, but the smell of sweat, blood and hard work have taken over and you can't smell the rubber any more. It is not soft (if you're looking for a place to do some jits, look elsewhere) and if it gets really wet (idk why it would) I could see it getting a bit slippery.
