Great! And, remarkably, fits in most overhead luggage bins.

So convenient!! Keeps my food hot and is easy to carry.

Difficult to carry over long distances but the front load is really nice. the grooves for the pans are also a little to far apart, the pans slip.

Looks nice keeps the heat well, but odd size to carry.

This insulated food carrier by Rubbermaid is excellent in performing the job that it was designed to do, to keep foods either hot or cold while transporting for up to 4 hours. It is built sturdily, easy to clean in a professional kitchen by their equipment, seals tightly, and has great handles to carry it comfortably. Many of the less positive comments that I read in other reviews fault it for other uses or applications that they have used it for, which are their experiences. I will comment on these, non-commercial uses as well as I do not own or work for a food service, but it does appear to be designed well for those applications. I rate it five stars for that.

Since it's early June and the outside temps heating up quickly, I have used it on my runs to the grocery store to keep my cold and frozen foods cold and frozen until I get home. I live 15 to 30 minutes away from the stores, so it's a welcome and useful device for accomplishing this. The space inside is large enough to hold many of my most temperature sensitive items and the thick insulation holds the temperature very well. The more tightly packed, the colder it stays! The divider is handy for separating the different temperature foods if you choose. It is a pricey item, but for those of you with distance to travel between the grocery store and home, it's a more reasonable investment to avoid food damage or loss from the heat. It is relatively light weight and it's comfortable, strong handles make it easy to carry into the house to unload right into your fridge or freezer.

I've not used it as much for transporting hot foods but I'm certain that it will do well considering it's performance with my cold items. I tried to place a 9 by 13 inch covered glass casserole dish in it and it nearly fit, but the handles were too wide by only about an inch or less. Some pans and dishes this size would likely fit if there were narrower or no handles.

Though light weight, this is a bulky carrier due to the thickness of the polyester foam insulation on all 6 sides. It is stack-able with similar carriers but not to be sat or stood on as you might a plastic cooler. The velcro closures on the top can be frustrating to open but they do hold the top on tightly along with quick close straps. The nylon exterior is tough and dishwasher safe. The net pockets on the outside are handy for smaller server ware or other items.

I am very pleased with this carrier and recommend it. I will update my review if I have more information to add.

Upon opening the box I was impressed on the exterior quality of the bag, then once i inspecting the inside i was shocked how thick the foam pads were. I could see why foods can stay hot and/or cold for long periods of time.

This food carrier is perfect for taking along for family gatherings, picnics, or our specific use - when we go buying meats that is almost an hour drive. We normally take several coolers, and still plan to but this will work great for placing our frozen seafood purchases to keep them separate from the meats and poultry. It is the perfect size for personal use, but rather small for commercial in my opinion.

Extremely lightweight (until you fill it it of course) and easy to clean.
