Not all the parts fit together as they were supposed to - some of the boards were cut differently than others. Overall, with a little work, it turned out fine.

Beautiful product! I oil stained all the wood pieces prior to assembly. The railings look as if they are too large to be hammered into the slot, but they fit perfectly with a block of wood and a 4 lb. hammer. The interference fit creates a tight fit and there is no movement or wobble. There were plenty of wood screws left over. I used a large screw driver to get the spacing between the boards in the center of the bridge. The end ramps, the boards just butted up against each other. Simple instructions and took a couple of hours to assemble.

The instructions aren't explicit about a few things that you should do during construction that weren't obvious to me. Notably, you should position two of the three main planks (outer ones) such that their outside edges are flush with the outside edges of their respective rails. Otherwise your spacing is weird. Then again, I didn't lay them all down before I did it, I was just going off the picture.

Regardless, it is a solid bridge.
