These are great! Back story: I have a brass chandelier that used to hold 5 round glass globes. To update it, I painted it black and changed out the globes to glass cylinders. Along the way, I had purchased some clear glass cylinders from a restaurant supply company that just didn't look right in the chandelier. I ended up finding some better cylinders at a lamp supply store, but the other ones were too expensive to ship back. So I'm stuck with them. So, I brain-stormed what to do with the cylinders. They were for table lamps you see in restaurants. Buying the whole table lamp apparatus was too costly, but I realized I could just put a cylinder around the plain fuel cell. These lights look beautiful with or without the cylinders.
My power went out a few weeks ago and I used one in my bathroom until the lights went back on, and it really was a lot less trouble than getting out a candle. The wick is included and there's just a small metal opening at the top so the fuel can not spill out.
I think I read on here that someone used these inside mason jars for her wedding reception. So, i want to add that they also look great inside plain glass cylinders, which you can find at KaTom restaurant supply.
These are so pretty, my friends, neighbors and family are getting some with the cylinders for the holidays to dress up their tables.
I'm not sure how I lived without these before making my glass cylinder mistake!

Ok but not worth the money

Excellent. Initially smaller than I expected. About the size of a plum. But I took one out to test it and six hours later it looks just about a third through. Consistent, clean, no bad smell.

Added these to my emergency supplies. Nice package. Looking for a clear sleeve to slide over the top when lighted: wind protection would be a good idea.

Love these little oil units. Save the mess of candles and get the same effect.
This was a great price as well
