instructions were easy to understand and product seems to be well made. no problems with the product after one summer of use outdoors. I'll bring it in for the winter, but only because I'm taking down the lights it's connected to. I'm sure it would stand up fine to the chicago winter.

I put this, what I call a cord cover, over my outside cord I use for my front porch camera system. Just clip it over where you plug in two cords together and you're done. A good weather protector.
Good Product, Easy Install

These Outdoor plug covers were easy to install. The seem sturdy and have a screw mechanism to ensure that your plug connection remains tight. I just recently installed them, so we'll see how they hold up to inclement weather.
Not sure why they call this product water resistant.

Not sure why they call this product water resistant. It is definitely not. Both ends do not secure your cords and the foam barrier that goes between the connection also looks cheap. I'll be looking for a much more professional product to buy. I always think "safety first" and this product does not fill the bill.

I bought this to use with an exterior extension cord. This thing fell apart on day one! Such poor quality it ended up in the trash. Save your $$$
