Great For Why I Bought It
eric j. sherman•July 28, 2016
This is a great $10ish knife. I love it. It does exactly what I want it to do and, for what I paid, this is a great knife. I don't say that despairingly. But, it is a $10ish knife. I would've given it 5 stars but was afraid someone would think that it was a great expensive knife. It's not. But for what you're paying, in my option it is great.
I bought one over a year ago. The blade is sharp. It's pretty sturdy. It keeps its edge. I've used the seat-belt cutter for even going through heavy-duty packing binders. I prefer the assisted opening and the feel and weight in the hand and style of blade is exactly to my liking. It's a great knife.
But, the truth here: Within the first three months the belt clip snapped off. The metal of the clip does not take a lot of wear in the realm of repetitious stress of putting on and taking off. But, it's a great size for my front pants' pockets. After four months I was having to tighten the hex screws as the blade was wobbly. After a little less than a year it was just beyond anything I could do to keep it together anymore.
So, I needed to buy a new knife. And, you know what I did? I bought the exact same one again. I've ordered three so far. I don't know that I should expect more for less than $10. And for what I need, a sharp, durable knife that I'm not afraid of losing, that I can keep on my person, that I know I can count on but I'm not afraid of ruining or damaging or even misplacing... and, it has glass-breaking and seat-belt cutting capabilities so I feel prepared in case of an emergency. I think it is great... for what I paid. Less than $10 for 11 months? That's better than a "disposable" knife. And that's how I view it.
If you need a great knife or a knife with longevity, then don't expect to pay less than $10 for it.

Other than that it's a great knife for the price and you can proudly sport ...

When wearing this knife on your person it the screws come loose and you have to keep them tightened. Some screws came out and finally the knife fell apart over time. I would only buy this if you plan on having to inspect this all the time and keep the screws tightened. Other than that it's a great knife for the price and you can proudly sport EMS/EMT/Star of Life.
Good Price--Good Knife Hammer

I mainly bought this item to keep in my car in case of emergencies- in particular if someone needs to get into a hot car with a child or pet locked inside, or to cut someone out of a seat belt in an emergency situation. As far as the quality of the knife, it appears to be made of high quality materials. The blade itself is extremely sharp. Whether it would hold up under constant use or not, it is difficult to say, but I would be willing to say it probably would. In reference to some comments I read in other reviews regarding the screws coming loose, all of them seem to be tightly sealed into the body of the knife. If someone purchases this item and does have problems with the screws, particularly on the belt clip or on the blade mechanism, I had a knife with a similar body and assembly once that began to loosen, and I simply placed a small amount of Lock-Tite on the end of the screws and tightened them. End of problem. Received the knife within 2 days and am happy with my purchase- especially given the price.
Very sturdy and sharp!

I bought this for my EMT car kit. It gets the job done! Fits perfectly in my bag and could save someone's life!
"Must Have" Knife
Doc•February 24, 2015
Bought this knife for it's many safety features; seat belt cutter, window breaker, and of course the knife. Knife not as sharp as I would like, but given the price, this is a great bargain. I believe the features of this knife make it a "must have" for everyone to own. I would hate to think I would ever have a need to use it, but am glad to know I have in the event I do. I will be ordering more for friends and family.
