Too easily dislodged from the lamp.
If you spend $295 on a Koncept lamp, you may as well spend $45 more on a motion sensor!

This was well worth the money. It installs in seconds clicking into a hidden hole along the lamp arm (see photo) and I have no complaints. Does exactly as promised turning off the lights to save energy when I'm not there.

You will not believe how tiny this is. It's the cutest little motion detector you ever did see.
Extremely convenient, as the light only has a dimmer slide switch, rather than a simple on off switch. With this product, the light always snaps on as soon as you get within range of the sensor, to the exact brightness setting you like. It always goes back on to same setting as when you left it.
It's actually very cool to walk into a room and have the light immediately go on. And for those who don't remember to turn lights off, this solves that problem too.
Not cheap, but if you spend $300. on the lamp, I highly recommend you go for this sensor. It will greatly add to your enjoyment of the use of this Koncept light.

This works great.
Light will stay on for 15 minutes
after last detected motion.
Range for detected motion
Is about 10-15 feet.
The only issue (-1 star) is the plug came
out of the unit when I tried to remove it.
I pushed it back in and it still works ok.
This pretty much stays plugged in anyway.
The sensor part is rotatable along
with the plug so you can move it in a large number of ways.
I moved mine in a way that looks good (not sticking out).
Just personal prteference.
The angle of motion detected seems very wide
so aiming it is not critical.
