This stuff is legit!

Bacon in a can is now going to be a staple of my survival kit and a routine addition to my diet. This stuff came out better than I thought it would. Fresh, delicious, bacon. Doesn't hurt to throw it in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up some, but great straight from the can as well.
Blown Away by Canned Bacon!

Had to try this to add to our "emergency food". Was so curious I brought a can to work to open and have everyone try.......A truck shop with mechanics and drivers-they could not believe it. When I was pulling it out of the can we were amazed by how much bacon was actually there, so crazy. The taste is incredible, just fresh lean bacon-the best part is that it is not cheap, fatty bacon. I was completely blown away, I thought the reviewers going on and on about how great it was had to be crazy-bacon in a can? Not so, I am now one of those people amazed at the quality of this "canned bacon". I will be adding more to our emergency food reserves or to just have on hand for unexpected bacon cravings.
arrived as promised and we all love the flavor

How do they get all of that bacon in a small can. I know 9 oz does not sound like a lot but trust me...there is a lot of bacon inside of this can. Although it does not feel the best on the hands when trying to get a small size pig out of a tin can you can make the process a lot more welcoming by opening up both sides of the can and push out the bacon wrap with a piece of plastic saran wrap or some plastic throw away gloves. It comes in for or 5 separate wax paper wrappings. I just take one wrap and stow the extra wraps in a mason (wide-mouth jar with a lid). Since it appears somewhat pre-cooked a lot of the bacon fat is already gone so your cooking time is basically cut in half. I like to micro-wave my bacon. This canned bacon cooks in less than 2 minutes in the micro-wave and I use very little paper towels. The bacon is thin (not thick) once cooked. However the taste is amazing and clean up is fast and easy. We like to place a little bacon on our hamburgers and this thin bacon is great to break up into crums into a tossed salad. It also added tremendous flavor to our baked potatoes and potatoe salad. For those preppers out there...THIS IS A MUST!!! Be sure to purchase in bulk to save the most.
but good taste. Definitely not as good as freshly fried ...

Thin, slightly rubbery, but good taste. Definitely not as good as freshly fried up bacon, but what do you expect from a can? Big plus here is the convenience, portability, and 10 year shelf life. Bust out a can when you get the bacon hunger pangs, take a can hiking/camping, or store them for a rainy day....that might be preceded by the end of civilization by means of nuclear war or zombie apocalypse.
