The water softener we have, a Kenmore, didn't seem to be working as good as it previously did, so I figured I would try this product to see if it would 'restore' the resin bed. After reading up on procedure in the water softener manual and on the bottle (very easy, just add to the brine tank), I gave it a try. After about 2 cycles, the water softener was back to working like we remember. I now use this a preventative maintenance item and it works great. Highly recommend to anyone using a water softener.
