OK for most (but not alI) glass tiles

Purchased these for use with small glass tiles for a mosaic I'm making. Was disappointed that they only grasp very thin glass. Had to use my tile nippers for many of the glass tiles (which shattered them) because they were thicker. If your glass isn't thick they will work well. The handles are comfortable.
Blades don't rotate

This tool is a piece of junk. I bought it on Amazon because I could find one at my local craft store. The blades don't move at all. There are also ding marks all over the tool, which makes me wonder if it was used or a prior return.

These work fine for working with art glass. Purchased these for mosaic working. Well made and seem fairly durable. I expect them to last for years with proper care.

These nippers are the BEST! I own a glass art studio and I have purchased many types of glass nippers. These are by far the most sturdy and the easiest grip, and strongest cut that I have tried. They make your work accurate and very fast. Great tool to have around for all applications.

These tile nippers are awesome! They are very solidly built, and will break just about any piece of glass that I throw at them. Prior to buying these nippers, I would score pieces of 6mm glass and then try to break them with my running pliers. This was a lot of work and the sizes of the breaks was much larger that I would like. With these tile nippers, I just line them up where I want to break the glass, squeeze, and - hey presto! - the glass breaks off! I can make much smaller pieces of glass with these nippers, and there is not much strain on my wrist. I also use these nippers to easily break glass cane. Breaking glass cane is very difficult without a tool like this.
