After 5 weeks, one of the shoes had the sole come apart. It split halfway down the length of the shoe.
Rockport issued a coupon code to order a new pair on their website, but they don't have the size and could only say they expect more sometime later this year. It is September......hoping by Christmas.....
Problem is now I had to buy a new pair of shoes while I wait for them to have the size I need.

I bought these for my 91 year old dad to replace the exact shoe that is now 10-15 years old. He wears them everyday all day long so you can imagine how worn the old pair are. At first my dad was not excited to try the new pair but the first day he had them on said...these shoes feel like bedroom shoes! Needless to say, they are perfect for him and I am so thankful that the fit, comfort and quality are exactly as they were 10-15 years ago with his first pair. This is a wonderful shoe for any age but is working very well for my 91 year old dad!

What part of white does Rockport no longer understand? My old shoes were white. These are actually a cream/eggshell color which wouldn't be so noticeable if the laces and the soles (which are visible around the bottom of the shoe) weren't actually white providing an undesirable contrast. Not much cushion to the insole. After wearing around town for a few hours, the white band around the bottom started turning almost black like it was attracting every bit of grime it encountered.

My 89-year old father has worn nothing but these Rockport shoes for years. He decided to buy a cheaper shoe about six months ago. He found the cheaper shoe comfortable, but after a few months, he started having pain in his feet and back. I ordered him a new pair of Rockports and all the pain disappeared. The cheaper shoes went into the trash!

NOTE: These are not the Pro Walkers you've been buying for years. Notice the lack of the logo on the heel. DO NOT buy these shoes to replace a pair you've worn out. These are NOT the same shoes that made the Pro Walkers a staple of many peoples wardrobe for years. These shoes are now only fit for mowing your lawn, if it's a small lawn. If you want the fit, comfort and durability you were used to you have to look for the Rockport Crafted Sport Shoe. Save yourself the return process and disappointment.
