Read My UPDATE below...This is ROAST Turkey Gravy Mix...Not the Original Southeastern Mills Turkey Gravy Mix !

Whoops, I ordered what I thought was the Original Southeastern Mills Turkey Gravy Mix, as I'd done during the past three years from various sellers on Amazon. This year I received four packs and noticed that they had new packaging. Still, I did not read the label carefully...until Thanksgiving morning! What I had ordered and received was the Southeastern Mills ROAST Turkey Gravy Mix. Buyers beware, these two gravies are not in any way the same gravy mix !
What I received, and prepared according to the packages directions, has none of the great freeze dried turkey pieces and stays very liquid instead of nice and thick like the Original Southeastern Mills Turkey Gravy Mix becomes. Needless to say, this gravy taste nothing like the Original Southeastern Mills Turkey Gravy Mix...because it is not. This is not the sellers fault and not Southeastern Mills fault. The fault is mine alone for not reading the package very carefully! The one star is for this products taste, which I do not care for.
UPDATE: This Is Devastatingly Sad News for Southerners and Southerners at heart everywhere - On 12-3-2015 I corresponded with a J. Morgan, Sales Support Team Leader at Southeastern Mills, Inc. and was informed they are no longer making the Original Southeastern Mills Turkey Gravy Mix. A Sad Turn of Events Indeed. Lets see, I remember when Coke came out with their "New Coke" years ago...when it ain't broke...

Excellent Turkey Gravy Mix. Very good tasting, nice texture, even being reheated. There are a lot of Mixes out there, but this one is the closet to homemade.
