Cherry Means Jet Black

It was easy to assemble. Almost as described. My real issue is I got the "˜cherry' colored one, and it is jet black. Really wished they'd just called it black. I wanted a really dark brown. Oh, and another reviewer said it was made of hardwood, but it is MDF. Still, it will fit my need. I bought it for cutting a hole in the top of it to fit a tabletop knitting machine.

I agree with the others. It was a mess opening the box due to crumbled foam. I guess they use cheap foam. But once you clean the mess and put it together, you get this. I like what I have and I recommend :)

Decent product for the price. Beware it is packed in Styrofoam and small pieces will be everywhere stuck via static electricity once you have it assembled. You also have to be a little creative to get the bin at the bottom assembled but I figured it out so you can too! We like the finished (assembled) product very much. Deduct one star for the mess to clean up after assembly!

The table is cute and was well packed. It will serve just fine as a short-term inexpensive nightstand. It is made of pressboard which is lower grade than mdf. The bolts are exposed on the legs, so you can see the brass on the white finish. The biggest issue I have is this: the curved brackets that hold the top of the lower-level dowels will rotate easily after installation, thereby letting all the dowels fall out. The two stars lost are due to this issue!! I glued the daylights out of the dowels, which honestly was not easy because you have to do both the upside and the downside of 4 loose sticks - you will need 2 people to hold it all in place when you are trying to make this happen.
