Mahjong is one of those games you can't put down. I purchased this game for my mother to help her with her memory. As I was showing her, I became engulfed with playing it myself. I now have a copy on all of my portable devices. I'm very satisfied with the loading process. It's a game that isn't difficult to figure out. It a symbol matching game.

Who doesn't love Mahjong? I have been playing this version for years. I like the assortment of puzzles and the size of the tiles. The tiles are easy on the eyes. I have no problems reading them on my Kindle H.D. 8.9. My granddaughters are hooked too. It was very easy to teach them how to play at age four. Mahjong is definitely a family favorite! It never gets old.

I'm tired of going on journeys, jumping through hoops, needing to spend coins or diamonds or whatever just to be able to play the game.
I would rather spend a set price for a game and get to play all I want than have to wait days until my heart build up because I'm not going to keep dumping money into a game.because the developer won't set a 5$ price on it and let the people buy it. Instead it's free and you have to dump money in it almost daily to play. Well no thanks. I'd rather take a game like this one. Then I can play until my fingers get numb and my mind falls asleep. It's my prerogative, I paid for it.

Mahjong is a fun game. Most people know that. The only reason I'm giving it 4* as opposed to a 5* game is that the characters are totally in Chinese. Some of them are difficult to distinguish from others. Once you get the hang of what is what, it's not that bad and a fun game. All that being said, it's got beautiful graphics and everything is sharp and clear.

On the main page there are several links to the Amazon Store to purchase other items. If you are concerned about your children making purchases the turn on your airplane mode and the app plays without the WIFI turned on. Under the options settings you can control the sound, highlights, animation tutorial, and language and reset the game. You can play the game in the classic mode, the time attack mode where you can be penalized seconds for using hints or shuffling the tiles and you have one hour to finish the game. You also have the challenge mode challenge mode is timed and a faster paced game and if you win you can unlock more levels.

This is a good mahjong game. It moves quickly and it is easy to play. On the very first game I could not remove all of the tiles as the last two identical tiles were on top of each other and unplayable. This has happened on several games.

The tile board contains no pan or zoom features so playing on a smaller smart phone will be difficult. I played on an eight inch tablet and the size was perfect for the game. Unplayable tiles are shadowed and it makes it easy to find moves.

Overall I liked the app and I rated it at 5 stars.

This app contains Amazon Insights and Flurry Analytics and both monitor your game play and behavior. They can also monitor the app for faults. With the limited permissions at this time they are limited in the amount of data that they can share with the developer. One of my scanning programs states that the app contains Google Play In-app Billing. It appears to be a remnant of code and I was not asked to make any purchases on the levels and versions that I played. There is a free Google Play version of this app that it version 1.2.16 while this Amazon version is 1.2.3.

This app installed 16.38MB into my device memory and I am unable to transfer it to my SD card.
