This is a one of a kind stylus
mh•January 28, 2016
This is a one of a kind stylus ... first of all the tip is super conductative and it is much better that than rubber tipped stylus(s) through other vendors, its tip does not smudge, the size is the perfect size to fit into one pocket, along with the fave that the PEN tip is retractable, so no more stabbing your self in the the thigh if you put this in your pocket, I loaned out the first one that I bought and never got it back, (just don't remember who I loaned it to) so I have decided that I will not loan out the second one. this is a great item at at great price point, NO I have not received it for free or at discount. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064REJ3C/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0
Great stylus and very precise!
Kimberly•January 10, 2016
This stylus is amazing! I used to use a stylus that had a rubber end instead of mesh and it tore right off from all of the erasing I did on my iPad. I was very gentle with the stylus too. I knew there had to be better styluses out there and I was right. New Trent Arcadia stylus had the highest reviews at the time and was also reasonably priced. I decided to give it a try and this stylus glides across my tablet with ease. The marks I make are very precise and controlled. Erasing, writing and drawing are much easier! I love how there's a pen at one end which is useful. My only complaint is that I wish this stylus was longer like a normal pencil. It can get awkward to hold if you are not used to its smaller size. Overall, great stylus!
New Trent Arcadia Limir Stylus Pen Works as Well as it Looks!

I've owned this for over a year now, and absolutely love it. I bought ink refills at the same time, because I figured I'd have trouble finding the correct ones when the time came. Fortunately, I haven't yet run out of ink, and I was correct, as the ink is now unavailable. Unfortunately, because this type of "micro-weave" was new at the time, there weren't refills of the "nibs" available, as there still isn't. They pretty much guaranteed the "nib" to last forever. But, I've noticed it has become semi-flattened and definitely not as accurate as it was when new. That said, I'll be ordering this same pen today. I love how the pen twists and appears at the opposite end, and it has a fine/distinguishable design (perfect for both men & women; executives to people like myself that have time to fill out reviews like this (lol). Actually, as a female, I love the twist pen because it doesn't accidentally pop open and ruin my good purses. I imagine there are others out there that function as this, but I don't have the time to compare 100's of similar results. The pen has a fine tip with black ink. I prefer medium ink pens with gel ink...and blue to be precise. But, it gets the job done with style & class. I just wish they sold extra "nibs" by the same company.
Too Short - Inaccurate Description
Shazza•May 23, 2015
While the stylus itself works relatively well, the length of the product is ridiculously short. It's barely over 4 inches, although incorrectly described as 6 inches long. What that means is that it's difficult to hold like a normal pen, either for use as a stylus or to write with the pen option. It's simply not long enough. The attached photo shows how it stacks up, size wise, to a standard pencil.
The stylus end works fairly well, but the real test is how this holds up over time. Initially, it seems good, but I've found the metal mesh wears away after a time so let's see what happens with this product. However, I'm not sure I'll be able to test it long term because the length issue makes it annoying to use.
If you're looking for a mini-pen/stylus that doesn't take up much room, this is probably fine for you, but if you want a standard length stylus/pen combo, you should look somewhere else.

Best for the Money

First of all, let's talk about the length. So many reviewers have complained about it. The length is 4.5 inches, the same as a $40 fuzzy-tipped one that I have and the same as the cheap rubber-tipped ones that also I have. It LOOKS shorter because of the way the colors are laid out on it. If you have another stylus, measure it; you may find that it's 4.5 inches too, and you can decide whether you can live with the length. On the subject of length, while it might be more ergonomic for some people if it were longer, it wouldn't fit nearly as well into shallow pockets in backpacks and briefcases. It is significantly shorter than a typical ballpoint pen.
As for the pen feature, you twist the stylus to expose the pen. The pen writes well, and I've left it in a hot car many times with no leakage.
The mesh tip has turned out to be rugged as well as effective. I've had real issues with the cheap rubber-tipped jobs wearing out or becoming contaminated, decomposing, and smearing black onto my touch screens.
Dollar for dollar, this is the runaway winner of the various styli that I have. It works just about as well as the fuzzy one and isn't as finicky. The fuzzy one needs to be held at a low angle according to the manufacturer and it actually works better that way. I think they're also trying to keep the fuzzy end from becoming more blunt. This one is angle agnostic and slides as smoothly as the fuzzy one and more smoothly than the rubber ones. It's also not as prone to absorb dirt and oil from touchscreen surfaces. It does a super job of capacitive coupling to touch screens, especially at the screen edges and corners where they tend to be the least sensitive. I have a set of multi-colored styli that double as push-button pens. They're nice and long, but they do a terrible job of capacitive coupling. You really have to poke the screen. Their rubber tips must be more resistive than conductive.
After more than a year of use, I was coming back to buy two more of the Trent Limirs and thought I'd add my two cents worth. If the length doesn't bother you, I think you'll love this stylus.
