Somewhat difficult to install - but throws a good light for my needs.

Non-star related comment: My first one arrived broken due to poor packaging. I immediately used Amazon's A-Z return guarantee. I ordered a second (replacement) and it arrived properly packaged.
Star-related comments: The screws (only two) that came with the light are pathetic. When the first one stripped without abuse of any kind, I went to my odds-and-ends bucket and found two of sturdier variety that work perfectly.
Were I to do this over again, I would probably use 3M Command strips in some way to mount this light. In the location where I placed it that kind of mounting option would work.
The light assembly is thin, but when mounted horizontally, it is suspended away from the mounting surface by about 3/8" so that does "add" depth to the unit, negating some of the thin-factor. In my application, it is still completely hidden, but just thought I'd mention that.
I will be purchasing at least one more. Very satisfied, and I feel like GE is a trustworthy name.

These under counter lights solved a real problem I had with a dimmer system that could not handle my under counter halogens. Dimmer kept blowing out transformer every 6 months. Now I have the ability of lighting the area I need without other 4 areas being on and burning out transformer. Bought 3 - 36in. and 1- 8in. and 1- 48 in. all came quickly , undamaged and with easy installation instructions. Would buy again if needed.
