they have lasted me for most of Fresh meat practice. They are ok beginner skates. I ordered a men's size 8. which is women's size 9, and i wear and 81/2-9 shoe size(depending on shoe) in women's. and they are kind of large. However, they stretch in width. if you order the same size you will have a bit of toe room at the top.

We've had these over a year my only problem is one of the skates wouldn't tighten at the stopper so now we have one with no stopper or washer and can't find a replacement that matches the one on the other skate.

I've been visiting the local rink with my two daughters lately and decided it was a good time to purchase my own skates and stop using the rentals. I am a women's size 10 shoe or 10.5 in sandals, and the size 9 fit perfectly (it's all men's sizing). The skates seem to roll just as freely as the rentals, and they are very comfortable. I didn't have any blisters after 2 hours of skating in them! I purchased the aqua color which is cute, but I wish I had chosen a girly pink or purple.
