I like the design and blue color of this clock
bee•September 12, 2017
I bought this item last year and it did not work very well. The clock/number display faded in and out. It was not reliable.
Thinking that is was just this one clock, I ordered another one. Same problem with the electronic display. Although this time, the display does not work at all. I like the design and blue color of this clock, but it is not reliable compared to other models that I've purchased for my science classes. Big disappointment!!!

Broke after one use. Cheaply made.
Does not work.

Does not work. I ordered this for my 7 year old son and you can imagine his disappointment when we tried it and it doesn't work., We tried it on potatoes, lemons, apples, limes and couldn't get the clock to come on at all. If I touch the electrodes to a battery then the clock does come on but that's not the point! I've even cleaned the electrodes with sand paper but still nothing.
DOES NOT WORK

The clock is clearly modified by hand by someone to work with this set up. Hand soldered wires connected to the circuit board to bypass the battery connections. There was flux residue on the screen of the clock when I took it out of the box. It even had a battery in it when I disassembled it to try to ascertain why it wasn't working. Get two galvanized nails and some copper wire and build one from scratch. Don't waste your money on this junk!

This is for a Christmas gift. Not sure yet about how it will work. What I am disappointed in, is that it's in a plain white box. No picture on it or even a word as to what it is. I'm having to print a photo to tape to the box. And, tape a description of what's in the box.
