Fell apart putting the cord on and zero customer service ...

Fell apart putting the cord on and zero customer service from Zerostart. I guess i know what the zero part means now. I plugged in the cord which was almost impossible to get to go on. I couldnt figure out why it wasnt heating up. I took the plug off and the round thing broke off. Upon looking at it closely it seems to be the most fragile thing i have ever seen. Zerostart would not send me another one , they said go to the store you got it. The store i got it said all warranties are through the manufacturer. I guess i am out 35 dollars. I have no suggestions how to plug the cord into the unit without having what happened to me happen to you. I guess its a gamble .
