Impressive carrier with plenty of storage space. I love to smake meat, but I live in a condo. This means that I often have to travel backnowledge and forth toting my wares from my place to my parents home where my smoker resides. These carriers have kept my food secure and appropriatly hot/cold depending on stage of preparation. The two smaller containers are great for side dishes or smaller portions of meat. They are bigger than they look though. The larger containerror can easily handle cut racks of ribs. They are dish washer, oven, and microwave safe. I would recommend covington get with foil rather than the plastic lids in the oven though... not sure if the lids are oven safew or not, I just figure better safeel than sorry. Over all I have no complaints and have purchased 2 of these sets and additional larger containers for this carrier so I always have the right size to fit my needs. The top section of the carrier has a velcro divider that can be moved to allow a larger container (same size as the bottom) to be used in place of the 2 smaller ones that the set comes with.

Bought this as a Christmas gift, and I haven't heard any performance feedback as yet. But the person I gave it to was very pleased with the set. I had opened it and checked everything before gift-wrapping, and I was very happy with the sturdiness and appearance of the set. I like the black color (and red interior) of the carry case better than the "cute" flowery prints of most other carriers -- I think it will stay nice looking longer. As noted is some other reviews, the lid does not cover the handles of the glass pan, but it encloses the food portion quite well. If I were transporting an item with lots of sauce I'd most likely cover the pan with foil before snapping on the lid.

I would buy this item for myself when my own carrier wears out.

The dish fits very nicely in the case with just the perfect bit of wiggle room needed to place a serving utensil inside. It was was also very simple to accommodate my 9x9 Pyrex dish by placing a larger towel within the case. In addition to the lower warming/cooling pack pocket there is also an upper pocket where an additional warming/cooling pack can be placed.
I safely placed the dish directly from the oven into the case by wrapping a towel around the dish to protect the fabric of the case and used foil instead of the cover provided.

This is a fantastic set!! I've considered buying it again because I love it so much... I'm just not sure I need an extra set of measuring dishes. The pie dish is large and quite deep; much more substantial than I had expected. The cake pan and bowls with lids are typical of Pyrex quality. I've used all of them several times now and the lids all seal nicely. I also love the carrying case! The set came with a couple of freezer packs to include if the cake pan is being stored in the carrying case with cold food. Not that freezer packs are pricey, but it was a nice touch. This set would be excellent as a gift for anyone setting up a new home!

I had one of these that was probably 15 years old and my son was always borrowing it. For Christmas I bought him one of his own and he was extremely happy! This is perfect to take food anywhere. The heated pad keeps the food warm for hours so you don't have to worry about reheating. This is definitely a quality product! And the price on Amazon was way better than any other sites I checked.
