Used this to try and find my drain field. I never found it, but the probe held up very well and it was pretty easy to put it in the ground. My only complaint was that this wasn't long enough. But that's not the products fault. Just saying if you are trying to find a drain field you may want to pay the extra money to get a longer one. Also the plastic started to come off the handles but I didn't mind.

Piece of junk. Rod flexes so you cannot penetrate ground with probe rod. CRAP!!

Well made. Strong steel rod and welded handle. Does the job we needed it for. Handle covers could be a lot thicker and perhaps glued on rather than just slip fitted.
